Y5 Aylmerton Residential

The children threw themselves enthusiastically into all the activities at the centre, which included den building and team-building exercises. There was also a night walk around the Felbrigg Estate complete with torch-lit stories in the church about the history of the house.

“There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats" - The Wind in the Willows

Everyone had a great time captaining boats on the Norfolk Broads.

A trip to the coast was the opportunity to see geography learning in practise, visiting Sea Palling and Happisburgh to see the impact of coastal erosion and sea defences.  There was even time for an ice cream!

We’ve been very proud of how all the children have embodied all the 6Rs whilst on the residential. It was a brilliant few days.
