With Y6 teacher, Mr Leeman, bravely tackling the London Marathon this year in support of RAB, we’re asking all children to join him in the challenge and see how many marathons RAB can run in one day.

RAB Marathon Challenge – Friday 25 April

On Friday 25 April, all classes will be at the starting line and aiming to run as many laps of the school field as they can. Each lap contributed by every child will add to the total number of miles RAB can complete. Children can run, walk, skip or hop – however they move, every step counts. We’re hoping to smash our target of 26 marathons in one day between us!

Just like the real marathon, children will be 'in training' during their PE lessons, fancy-dress costumes are welcome, parents can come to cheer their children on, and we hope to raise lots of money through sponsorship to upgrade our astro pitch.
