Extra Curricular Activities
school clubs
The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child states that every child has the right to take part in a range of cultural and sporting activities.
Here at RAB we strongly believe these opportunities should be accessible and open to all our children. There are many options for children from Reception to Y6 to take part in school clubs. They run before school, at lunchtime and at the end of the school day. Clubs run on a termly basis and at the end of each term a letter is sent out inviting children to apply for places for the following term. On average we offer over 400 club places a week! They range from sporting clubs, through to chess, dance and drama.
music lessons
We also have a number of peripatetic music tutors who visit the school and you can arrange music lessons for your Junior School children. We currently have tutors teaching drums, brass, violin, guitar, woodwind and ukulele. For information please ask at the school desk. Recorder and ukulele lessons are available from Reception.
SCHOOL CHOIR
Our Junior Children have the opportunity to join the school choir and have performed at a range of venues including the Young Voices Concert at the O2 Arena, the Spirit of Christmas concert at St Mary's Church, singing carols at local care homes and even entertaining the staff and customers outside Waitrose with Christmas carols.
